2024 Winner - Anna England

Anna’s main role at Elliott’s is coordinating sales for wholesale customers and delivering customer service. In June 2021 I completed my study toward a Diploma in Horticulture at Lincoln University. Anna’s goals in the short term are to complete her studies toward a diploma in primary industry business management. Following this she would like to continue learning more about the advances in plant production technology that are being used overseas and how they can be applied to our New Zealand nurseries.

Anna excelled in the Young Plant Producer Competition with her scores reflecting this. Anna is an all rounder and the judges were very impressed how she showcased through all challenges that were put in front of her. She went onto then win the Young Horticulturist of the Year award, a prestigious award that has not been won by the Plant Production industry since 2017. We are very proud of Anna for her win and representation of the industry.
